POOL LINER REPLACEMENT DISCLOSURE
PURPOSE OF SERVICE
Pool liner replacement is a specialized service intended to replace an existing vinyl pool liner with a new vinyl liner manufactured to fit the pool's dimensions and configuration.
Because many critical components of a vinyl-lined pool are concealed beneath the existing liner, the full condition of the pool structure cannot be determined until the existing liner has been removed.
Customers acknowledge that liner replacement projects involve unknown conditions that may affect labor requirements, materials, scheduling, pricing, and project completion timelines.
LINER REPLACEMENT SCOPE
Standard liner replacement service may include:
• Removal and disposal of the existing liner
• Preparation of accessible liner contact surfaces
• Installation of a new liner
• Reinstallation of applicable faceplates, fittings, and accessories
• Initial filling and startup assistance when applicable
Services performed may vary depending upon pool type, liner style, site conditions, and conditions discovered during the project.
UNKNOWN CONDITIONS
The condition of the following components cannot be fully evaluated until the existing liner has been removed:
• Pool floor
• Vermiculite base
• Sand base
• Foam products
• Pool walls
• Wall panels
• Coping systems
• Liner tracks
• Plumbing penetrations
• Main drains
• Returns
• Skimmers
• Structural supports
• Existing repairs
• Groundwater conditions
Conditions discovered after liner removal may require additional labor, materials, repairs, appointments, equipment, or revised project pricing.
CONCEALED DAMAGE
Upon removal of the existing liner, Crystal Water Pool Services may discover conditions including but not limited to:
• Rusted wall panels
• Structural deterioration
• Floor washouts
• Vermiculite deterioration
• Settlement
• Groundwater intrusion
• Plumbing leaks

ADDITIONAL COSTS AND REPAIRS
If concealed damage or unforeseen conditions are discovered, Crystal Water Pool Services will notify the customer and provide recommendations whenever reasonably possible.
Additional repairs may require:
• Additional labor
• Additional materials
• Additional appointments
• Additional equipment
• Revised project timelines
• Additional charges
Work required to correct concealed conditions is not included in the original liner replacement estimate unless specifically identified in writing.
GROUNDWATER DISCLAIMER
Groundwater conditions are outside the control of Crystal Water Pool Services.
Groundwater may result in:
• Liner floating
• Wrinkles
• Floor movement
• Washouts
• Delays in installation
• Structural concerns
Crystal Water Pool Services shall not be responsible for groundwater conditions, hydrostatic pressure, soil movement, drainage issues, or other site-related conditions beyond our reasonable control.
MEASUREMENTS AND LINER MANUFACTURING
Replacement liners are manufactured based upon measurements and information available at the time the order is placed.
Manufacturing tolerances exist within the liner industry.
Minor variations in fit, seam location, cosmetic appearance, print alignment, pattern placement, and material characteristics may occur and do not constitute defects.
LINER MEASUREMENTS AND ORDER APPROVAL
Liner measurements are based upon pool conditions and dimensions observed at the time measurements are taken.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, liner measurements are considered valid for thirty (30) days.
If a liner order is delayed beyond thirty (30) days, Crystal Water Pool Services reserves the right to require remeasurement of the pool. Additional measurement visits may be subject to additional charges.
Changes to the pool structure, floor, walls, steps, fittings, or other pool components after measurements are taken may affect liner fit and may require revised measurements, liner modifications, or additional charges.
Once a liner order has been submitted to the manufacturer, it may not be canceled, modified, returned, or refunded.
LINER WRINKLES AND APPEARANCE
While every effort is made to achieve a proper fit and appearance, Crystal Water Pool Services cannot guarantee a completely wrinkle-free installation.
Certain wrinkles, cosmetic irregularities, floor imperfections, pre-existing structural issues, groundwater conditions, pool age, and site conditions may affect the final appearance of the liner.
WATER DELIVERY AND FILLING
Unless otherwise stated in writing, water costs, water delivery fees, and water replacement expenses are the responsibility of the customer.
Project completion may depend upon water availability, water delivery schedules, weather conditions, and customer participation.
POOL WATER LEVEL AND FILLING RESPONSIBILITY
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the customer is responsible for providing the water required to fill the pool following liner installation.
If water delivery services are requested, all water delivery charges, trucking fees, municipal water fees, and related expenses shall be the responsibility of the customer.
Crystal Water Pool Services is not responsible for delays resulting from water availability, water delivery schedules, well production limitations, municipal water restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
WEATHER AND SCHEDULING CONTINGENCIES
Liner replacement projects are highly dependent upon weather conditions.
Rain, storms, excessive moisture, groundwater conditions, high winds, extreme temperatures, unsafe working conditions, supplier delays, material availability, and other factors may delay installation.
Crystal Water Pool Services reserves the right to postpone, suspend, or reschedule work when conditions are unsuitable for a proper liner installation.
CUSTOMER DELAYS AND PROJECT INTERRUPTIONS
Project schedules are based upon continuous progress whenever reasonably possible.
Customer-requested delays, postponed decisions, unavailable access, delayed approvals, delayed payments, unavailable utilities, or other customer-caused interruptions may affect scheduling, labor availability, material availability, and project costs.
Crystal Water Pool Services reserves the right to adjust project schedules and pricing when significant delays occur after work has been authorized.
NO GUARANTEE OF PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS
Crystal Water Pool Services cannot guarantee the condition of:
• Existing pool walls
• Existing plumbing
• Existing fittings
• Existing floor materials
• Existing structural components
• Existing drainage systems
The discovery of defects during or after liner replacement shall not be presumed to indicate improper workmanship.
POOL AGE AND STRUCTURAL CONDITION
Older pools may contain deterioration, corrosion, settlement, structural movement, outdated materials, hidden repairs, or age-related conditions that are not visible prior to liner removal.
While Crystal Water Pool Services will make reasonable efforts to identify visible concerns, the condition of older pool structures cannot be fully assessed until the existing liner has been removed.
The customer acknowledges that older pools may require additional repairs or corrective measures as conditions are uncovered during the project.
SERVICE DOCUMENTATION
Crystal Water Pool Services reserves the right to photograph pool conditions, liner conditions, structural components, work progress, and completed installations before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, insurance, warranty administration, and dispute resolution purposes.
