REPAIR, DIAGNOSTIC, LEAK DETECTION, AND LINER REPLACEMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

PURPOSE OF SERVICE

Crystal Water Pool Services provides pool repair, troubleshooting, diagnostic, leak detection, liner replacement, equipment replacement, and specialty service work.

Many pool systems contain concealed, underground, inaccessible, damaged, deteriorated, modified, improperly installed, or previously repaired components. As a result, the full scope of a problem may not be identifiable until work begins or additional components are exposed.

Customers acknowledge that repair, diagnostic, leak detection, and liner replacement projects involve unknown conditions that may affect project cost, duration, materials, labor requirements, and final recommendations.

DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES

Diagnostic services are intended to identify, isolate, evaluate, or narrow down the cause of a problem.

The customer acknowledges that payment is due for diagnostic services regardless of whether:

• The problem can be permanently repaired
• The exact cause is identified
• The recommended repair is approved
• Additional issues are discovered
• The customer chooses not to proceed with repairs

Diagnostic fees compensate Crystal Water Pool Services for professional time, expertise, testing, troubleshooting, travel, equipment use, and evaluation services.

No guarantee is made that a diagnostic visit will result in a complete diagnosis or repair solution.

REPAIR SERVICES

Repair services are performed using information available at the time work is authorized.

Additional defects, hidden damage, deterioration, code violations, improper prior repairs, equipment failures, plumbing issues, structural issues, or other conditions may be discovered during the course of repairs.

Such discoveries may require additional labor, materials, appointments, recommendations, or revised estimates.

Repairs are limited to the specific components authorized for repair and do not constitute a comprehensive inspection of the entire pool system.

USED EQUIPMENT AND EXISTING COMPONENTS

Crystal Water Pool Services cannot guarantee the performance, reliability, lifespan, efficiency, compatibility, or future operation of existing equipment, used equipment, repaired equipment, customer-supplied equipment, or previously installed components.

Repairs involving existing equipment are intended to address a specific known issue and do not constitute a guarantee that additional failures will not occur.

The failure of related components before, during, or after repair shall not be presumed to indicate improper workmanship.

NEW EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONS

Warranty coverage for new equipment installations is limited to workmanship and any applicable manufacturer warranties.

Crystal Water Pool Services makes no warranty beyond those expressly provided in writing.

Manufacturer defects, shipping damage, warranty limitations, product recalls, and equipment failures remain subject to manufacturer terms and conditions.

LEAK DETECTION SERVICES

Leak detection is an investigative process intended to identify potential sources of water loss.

Not all leaks can be identified during a single visit.

Some leaks may be intermittent, concealed, inaccessible, underground, structural, weather-dependent, pressure-dependent, or otherwise difficult to isolate.

The customer acknowledges that leak detection services are billed based upon professional time, expertise, testing, and evaluation regardless of whether the exact source of water loss is identified.

Additional testing, excavation, dye testing, pressure testing, equipment disassembly, or follow-up visits may be necessary.

LINER REPLACEMENT AND LINER PROJECTS

Liner replacement projects involve substantial unknown conditions that cannot be fully evaluated until the existing liner has been removed.

Crystal Water Pool Services cannot determine the condition of the pool floor, pool walls, vermiculite base, sand base, foam products, coping, track systems, structural components, plumbing penetrations, fittings, groundwater conditions, or other concealed areas until removal of the existing liner.

Upon removal of an existing liner, additional issues may be discovered, including but not limited to:

• Groundwater intrusion
• Washouts
• Floor deterioration
• Vermiculite damage
• Structural damage
• Rust
• Wall damage
• Plumbing issues
• Fitting damage
• Settlement
• Improper prior repairs
• Hidden leaks

Any such conditions may require additional labor, materials, appointments, equipment, excavation, repairs, or revised project pricing.

The customer acknowledges that liner replacement pricing is based upon visible conditions and may be adjusted if hidden conditions are discovered.

GROUNDWATER AND SITE CONDITIONS

Crystal Water Pool Services shall not be responsible for delays, complications, liner floating, structural movement, washouts, excavation issues, or other conditions resulting from groundwater, weather conditions, drainage conditions, soil movement, hydrostatic pressure, or other site-related conditions beyond our reasonable control.

WEATHER, SAFETY, AND SCHEDULING CONTINGENCIES

Service schedules are estimates only.

Scheduling may be affected by:

• Weather conditions
• Rainfall
• Lightning
• High winds
• Flooding
• Groundwater conditions
• Material availability
• Supplier delays

• Equipment availability
• Site accessibility

Crystal Water Pool Services reserves the right to postpone, suspend, or reschedule work when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

The customer agrees to:

• Provide access to the property, pool, and equipment
• Maintain utility service when required
• Remove personal property from work areas
• Promptly communicate project concerns
• Approve change orders when required

Failure to provide access or approvals may result in delays and additional charges.

SERVICE DOCUMENTATION

Crystal Water Pool Services reserves the right to photograph pool conditions, equipment, plumbing, liners, structural components, work areas, and project progress before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, insurance, warranty administration, and dispute resolution purposes.
